LUCA School of Arts is a multidisciplinary educational and research environment where creative talent can develop and evolve in terms of art, performance and technique. In four cities (Brussels, Genk, Ghent and Leuven), LUCA combines the educational expertise of five renowned institutions (Sint-Lukas, Narafi, C-mine, Sint-Lucas and Lemmens). Research at LUCA covers the full spectrum from demand-driven practice-based research to autonomous artistic research. The research is being developed in close collaboration with and is embedded in the Associate Faculty of Arts at KU Leuven. With more than 800 staff members and 4,000 students, LUCA is a creative hub for more than 4,800 artists, theatre and film-makers, designers, musicians, photographers, teachers, researchers, etc.
