Retail Functional Consultant

Will be responsible for building a clear understanding of the business environment, working closely with operations and assisting in all business process improvement activities, with special focus on retail and logistics processes. His assignment is to assure the alignment between IT and business processes and ensure that technology supports organization strategies and goals.


  • Manage the daily requirements related with Logistics &Retail processes;
  • Manage and be actively involved in the project with 3th party (for all project lifecycle);
  • Technical design of retail solutions (design of processes, applications solution, interface layer with the different systems across applicational landscape, information flows, etc.);
  • Attend the Software Development team in the testing, releases for all new implementations;
  • Execute and maintain test plans, scenarios and scripts for software releases;
  • Quality assurance and testing software upgrades as well as reporting defects to the software developers;
  • Ensures solution documentation for the business processes and the information systems used in which process to ensure clear, efficient maintenance and assure knowledge built up during the solution implementation;
  • Ensures end users training and support in Retail tools and software;
  • Market research for Retail IT Solutions that best suit the business;



  • Degree in Systems Engineering/Management Information Systems/ Management and similar
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in SAP Retail projects (development, quality assurance and support) or SAP ECC
  • Strong experience with SAP Retail applications processes and scope
  • Fluent Portuguese, English speaking/writing
  • SAP Modules: SD/MM/Retail
  • Experience in ABAP or integrations (advantage)
  • Experience in S4/Hana (advantage)
